Which past companion would you like to see the most? It’s gotta be Elton, surely 😁

You guys are great and I'll explain why. Typically speculation videos feel like just wild theorys to get views. But when you and Ellie do a video like this it feels more like when you're hanging out with your mates at a hobby shop of coffee shop and you're excitedly chatting about an upcoming show you're excited about.

I guess what I'm saying is when you guys do videos like this, they feel very authentic if that makes any sense lol.

I can't wait for this special, I can't wait for the Ups and Downs for it and as always thanks for making this. See you in the TARDIS mates!

Susan is criminally overlooked. She is actual family and yet she is mentioned in passing but The Doctor hardly talks about her.

I think it would be great to have a Doctor Who family episode where Susan meets Jenny (Doctor's daughter), and River Song in an episode. Can you imagine them meeting and going "Who are you?"
"I'm Susan, the Doctor's grand daughter." - Susan
"Oh, well, hello sweetie. I'm your new grand mother." - River
"Guess that makes me your new Aunty?" - Jenny

What do people think about Luke making an appearance in lieu of Sarah Jane Smith? Could be a connection from Classic to Modern eras if she told him about all these companions and he organized this group.

One character that seems to have been forgotten (in tv episodes), she was only in one episode, Jenny, the Doctors daughter... She left at the end of the episode with the doctor believing she was dead. Would definitely make for an interesting storyline to reintroduce her

Watch for Bradley's character to die!!! In an interview he said he wanted to go out as a hero, making the ultimate sacrifice!!! His smile when he said this makes me think it may happen

What I'd like David's first line (if he's back) to be: "Old teeth?" and his last: "It's ok, I'm ready to go now"

In terms of companions I'd like to see back: Ian Chesterton and Jo Grant and I feel like they are the most likely for cameos as both are on present day Earth, and I say cameos because their appearances will likely be small if they show up though that's fine, it'd still be nice to see them, giving us a glimpse of how they are doing these days and Ian Chesterton is someone in particular I think Doctor Who should bring back while they still can as William Russell is 97, he sadly isn't going to be around forever so I'd love to see him in Doctor Who at least one last time!

Very excited for Power of the Doctor, though also terrified as ANYTHING could happen and while I do love that, that also makes me really nervous! Only 4 days to go

Just a thought, what if David Tennant's character is not the Doctor? What if he is someone who looks like Ten & Donna has become friends with him while still not remebering her time travelling with the Doctor. This sort of thing has happend before - Peter Capaldi for example & don't forget Patrick Troughton's serial The Enemy of the World

Mad theory for the regeneration. The doctor splits into multiple previous incarnations and we follow their individual stories via multiple specials next year that culminate in the 60th

Your gonna need to do a ups and downs for this.
Susan would be a cool companion to show up as a suprise

Graham weren’t drinking coffee though when he sat down and talked

My theory….
Doctor is completely DE-regenerated (via that booth she’s stood in, no doubt a Master/Cyber thing) through all their incarnations, starting again from Hartnell all the way up through them again stopping at Tennant.

There's a scene of Tegan and Ace shooting at Cybermen, so I want the Cyber Brigadier to come to their aid. The Brigadier met both of them, so some clever editing of past dialogue would allow him to talk to them.

Always love Ellie’s bubbly and hopeful personality.
The biggest mistake the show has ever done is not giving us the doctor’s promise to Susan. Not even as a suggestion.

I don't think Martha is returning. You have to keep in mind that by the time this episode was Shot Freema Ageymona was in America working on New Amsterdamn; which was still on the air at the time on both NBC and Peacock. So I doubt she would be back for this episode.

River would make no sense showing up. Peter is the furthest doctor she knew of.

Good stuff as always. I noticed that no mention of Jo Martin was made. Will the regeneration cycle be Jody -> Jo -> Ncuti? Did Jo Martin lie to Jodie about recognising her (spoilers!)? Did the Doctor lie to herself?

As to other companions.... love to see Mel i.e. Mels (Nina Toussaint-White) pre-regeneration into River. Jack is always a likely candidate too. Can't imagine that the Paternoster Gang would re-appear (but you never know).

Rose Tyler because she was the first companion from the 2005 reboot

With all the talk of companions on Earth, I have not yet seen or heard anyone mention Polly. The episode really needs a 60s companion and Anneke Wills would be great to see in my opinion.
