Quick advice from someone coming from the land of risotto (Milan): start with onion made into small pieces and some butter. Then you toast the rice, and then you put some white wine with high fire, to make It evaporate rightaway. Then igredients (in this case: mushrooms). This way it'll be tastier. Then you put the broth, Little by little. When you see It being soaked, you add more, till you see that the rice Is cooked. Then you let It soak the last amount of broth so that Is Creamy and not soup-like. Always Remember ti keep mixing, otherwise the rice Is going to stick to the pan. Then, if you want It to be creamier, at the end I saw you put butter again (which is perfect) but with it add also some parmisan cheese (the cooker must be off) and mix. You don't need cream! 😉😉


( Since I see that this comment Is so popular: If you all want more italian tips Just ask right here below, It's a pleasure for me to tell you what I know and spread italian food culture! My mushroom risotto Is the best. I cook mushrooms separately with some garlic (that I take It out later) and parsly, and then put into the risotto as said before. Or you can also do the same with saffron, just add It at the end with the butter and parmisan, cause saffron Is very soft and the broth would take out all the taste! Or you can also replace white wine with Red wine and put as an ingredient some sausage half cooked separately together with its melted fat (I Say half cooked cause if you Cook It completely in a pan, and then put It into the risotto in the middle of the making of the risotto itself, then the broth would overcook It. And if you put the sausage at the end, the risotto Is not going to take the taste of the sausage) But anyway I can teach you all I know also about other dishes than risotto 😉)

I'm always finding risotto videos and I can't express how much as a savory arroz con leche this is and I can't eat it because it feels like porridge in my mouth AND EVERYTIME IT LOOKS YUMMY but the texture 😭

Good tips! That's the French way I was taught, just no cream at the end, but it does add that extra creaminess! You have a very lucky hubby
