When the 97 film was being made, the stair case started to buckle and pin stunt performers and actors, putting them in a dangerous situation. It was built just like it was in 1912 just a bit bigger to accommodate for filming and night of people in current times. James Cameron had no intention of this happening, so his guess was that this might have happened in the real night.

He included the port list, its in the scene where the promenade at the front starts to flood at an angle, its only shown for about 3-4 seconds

My theory is that the Staircase collapsed and some pieces floated out when the bow made impact on the sea floor. Some fell to the bottom and some just crushed into pieces and floated up.

There are a lot of Iron Balustrades that were part of the Grand Staircase... Those would still exist somewhere, perhaps at the bottom....I am surprised none of those balustrades have been seen... Not even the one on C deck in front of the Purser's office....

By the way, Britannic was in shallow water, so the vacteria and coral didn’t eat that big ship

The Britannic can actually be raised but that requires permission from the owner and the Greek government.

It is believed that it broke off and floated away which also happened in James Camerons movie

I've always been of the same mind as you : I find it hard to believe that the Grand Staircase simply floated up in its' entirety, and floated out of the dome area cleanly and entirely intact. I agree with your scenario.

Also, "RAISE THE TITANIC" came out in 1979, not 1985. I remember, because I was first on line to see it at the time.

@4:33 that IS part of the grand staircase and that is NOT “rare” debris. Those pieces are still in place, and many of those images can be found online.

The green staircase is gorgeous. Some people might not like it, but I love it. Still I prefer the good old grain pattern of natural wood, especially when it's "exotic" like loop (a cancer-like growth on the tree, that can be sliced to make "plaqué"(sorry I'm not english-native) or turned on a lathe) I studied cabinet-making at cegep and It give me a second eye on the Titanic. I'm a fan of that ship since the movie came (I saw it twice in theather) and I drew it many many time (so much that the teachers where rolling there eyes every time I drew the Titanic, I was in elementary, 4th grade) I also went to the Halifax Maritime Museum to see actual fragment of the titanic (a deck chair, with a replica to try, and a carved wooden panel (also with a replica, to touch)) Now I'm high af and I forgot what I wanted to say XD

Port list is in the movie. You can see it clearly when they show the bow almost at water level.

The brick town skyscraper in Oklahoma just got a 200ft addition, and if built will be the tallest in America and 5th in the world standing at 1907 feet. You should do a video on it

Iv always thought that water didnt crash through the dome because there was a glazed cased weather protector enclosure above the dome!
I always believed the dome was destroyed in the descent and stsircase simply corroded and fell to the bottom of the ship!

My theory when titanics bow hit the ocean floor and slid on the ocean floor before it digged its way seafloor and broke its back, the pressure of the air pushing down on titanic as she settles crushed the ship including the stairs, so after sometime later what’s left would’ve crumbled and crushed to the bottom, this is evident as the bottom floor on titanic has a lot of crumbled what looks to be what was originally the grand staircase. (That’s where the angel was recovered I believe)
