Hey great review! I would love to know how you do charge your phone though. Do you charge it over night or do you charge it fully before you go to bed and then unplug or something else? And do you use your device whilst it is being charged?

I just upgraded from the S3. Love the device so far!  I had no issue with registering my fingerprints with my thumb more horizontal.  So I am able to use the scanner while holding the device with one hand.  What I also did notice, is that when you register your finger, you should move your finger around a little bit other.  If you register with the exact same part of your finger then that is all that you will be able to unlock with.  Moving your finger at different angles will give the device many more options when you want to unlock.

I really have no complaints, I did notice that the camera lags sometimes when opening it and when you want to view the image that you just took.

Good review I've been away from the Samsung phone for awhile since the gs3. My biggest problem has been since then is TouchWiz like you mentioned.I'm hoping on the note 4 they revamp the UI and the design they really need to change for the better.
LG is doing a better user experience !!! What I'm most impressed about on LG is that they change the look of the UI in just one year from the g2 to the g3 !!!
That's where Sami needs to take constructive criticism and make change !! It needs to be more Google esk !! More functional software not gimmicks that people don't need or use.

Couple of things...

You can change the layout for the settings.

I've taken underwater pictures and videos with no problems. Still running perfectly. I still wouldn't suggest doing it, but make sure the back and charger covers are secure.

As for the fingerprint scanner, I've been able to save my thumbprint at the angle it would swipe when holding my phone with a Flygrip. My right thumb angle is from 10 o'clock to 5 o'clock. 

If you don't like Touchwiz (I don't), Nova launcher is great.

Battery life for me is pretty bad, but the rapid charge does help.

I've had mine since launch and so far I'm happy with it. Smart stay sucks on it though compared to the Note 3.

You can change the settings menu to a list view.

I was thinking about the s5. But right now I'm gonna wait out for the Note 4. If it's not that big of a deal than I'll probably get the s5 or one of the variants.

Why is there no music production hardware for Samsung?..I can find a ton for Apple.

The finger print scanning works pretty fine. It just needs more than 3 since it can't do multiple directions for a single finger. Like I use two for one thumb and the other for an index finger.

Please if you can, help me get a fully working galaxy s5 touch wiz rom running on my sprint galaxy s3 L710. I've followed you for a while and your methods always work, I've notice you use to show a lot of methods to upgrade roms and now you just do a lot of reviews. Maybe you can start up teaching us with the s5 rom to s3
