I have been thinking of a Prius, but I can't abide the design - it looks like it's already been crashed. The Corolla looks more normal, great review.

Nothing marmite about the looks at all IMO.
I've seen them in the flesh and they are real lookers.

Great review by the female reporter. Concise, knowledgable and no irritating endless boring chatter so often the case with male petrol heads

The Corolla originated in Japan and is of course sold in Japan as well. When comparing the overseas specifications and the Japanese domestic specifications, the latest Corolla has some differences in grade and appearance, but in fact the dimensions are different between the overseas specifications and the Japanese domestic specifications. This European touring wagon has a total length of 4650 mm, a total width of 1790 mm and a total height of 1435 mm. On the other hand, the domestic specifications in Japan are slightly shorter, with a total length of 4495 mm, a total width of 1745 mm, and a total height of 1460 mm. why? This is because we are considering ease of use in Japan. Roads are often narrow in Japan, but due to housing conditions, parking space is limited compared to overseas. I don't know about the UK, but in Japan you have to park your car and make sure you have a place to apply before you buy. Of course, if you have to park outside the premises of your home, you have to pay a monthly fee. In Japan, you cannot park on the road in front of your house every day. You will have to pay a fine for parking violations. If you get the chance, take a look at "Parking in Japan" on Google Street View. And again, don't you think it's rare in the world that the same Corolla has different dimensions?

My mind had been absolutely blown when I’ve come across a station wagon variant of the Corolla. 🤯 Me in the US

Good Morning Britain, Did you know they sell an all wheel drive version of this Corolla Hybrid Estate in Japan? Toyota's Derbyshire plant ought to build them too.

Please send a few of these made-in-the-UK Hybrids to the loyal colony of Canada.

2.0l 8 second hybrid wagon. Pretty attractive. Such a pity it couldn't come with a plug. More amps from the battery means more oomph and less engine buzz.

bring that station wagon to the US please

If this were sold in the US I would love to buy one. We only have the sedan (saloon) and hatchback models but not the station-wagon (estate) available. It would be a nice alternative to all of the crossovers in the North American market.

OK this is an old review but its still a treat. Ms Parrott is not a time a time waster at all. A true pro.
Weirdly these days you can get a Suzuki Swace, same car different lable, at a discount. If you have an EV with a smaller battery this would almost make sense as family car number 2. Inexpensive, lightish, space. Tack/thanks from Sweden

Great Video Review. One of my favourite Hybrid Cars

How come in the US people would rather get the CH-R instead of this beautifully designed, practical estate?

I wonder why the UK version does not get the adaptive headlights (LED array AHS) but merely just the automatic low beam/high beam system? For rest of the Europe they seem the be offered as an option.

Good review, but please don't recommend diesels at any point anymore! Clean diesels still don't exist, whatever they state...

For those who write about acceleration, that car is for cheap comfortable ride from a to b, that is the main reason, take 918spyder or sport turismo e hybrid when u want acceleration
