woooow, the tendon placement is anatomically correct! they go all the way up to the carpals & everything! rigging the tendons in addition to the hand bones makes perfect sense. they're like a second set of smaller/more flexible 'bones' that drape over the real ones – rigging both would enable more precise control over the model while enhancing the sense of realism.

The uncanny part is how the fingers are so incredibly mobile and independent. Most people can't curl their pinky while keeping their ring finger fully extended.

I don't understand why it looks so perfect and real. No texture, no ray tracing, no special lighting. Just a model, animation and interaction. But it still... feels so real! This channel is worth having notifications set for any new content! Can't wait for 2024 to see your next video! 😄

Chris is quite mysterious, with big gaps between uploads, he always comes up with something so much realistic, that even without textures it's convincing

This rig actually looks really realistic. The joints of each finger are able move around freely while still being restricted (like actual I must congratulate you on your amazing ability to animate humans so beautifully!
