Yoda's Species - Star Wars Explained

The Jedi Master Yoda was the best-known member of a species whose true name is not recorded. Known in some sources simply as Yoda's species, this species of small carnivorous humanoids produced several well-known members of the Jedi Order during the time of the Galactic Republic.

This video was recorded with a phone voice recorder, edited and created in VideoPad video editor in Serbia 2016.

Honestly, I think the species of Yoda is Jedi. Think about it, there's an entire species called Sith, why can't it be the same with the Jedi.

About the only thing that I know whether I was a Sith, part of the Empire, or anyone else in the Star Wars universe, if I saw a short midget green creature that looked like Yoda, my first comment would be, "hey guys, give it up, this green f-cker has won. Thanks!"

Wherever Yoda's species come from....my guess is their short size and colored skin is an adaptation to survive in their homeworld.... possibly swampish or forested planet with serious volume of water. also the long ears could serve as an adaptation too...maybe Yoda's species are somewhat wookie life stylized as maybe they lived on top of the trees or underground...what is your take on this guys?
