In earlier townhalls you should always keep 8h and 12h upgrades for the night and the short upgrades for times when you can stay online.
The medium length upgrades, so 2h-6h should be reserved for daytime, when you can't be online all the time, but can get on every now and then. Like school or work.

Builder management really is the key. When I was newer in the game, for some reason I wanted all my builders to finish their upgrades at the same time. It just felt satisfying. But then I learned it's much easier to keep all your builders busy nonstop when you stagger them so they don't finish at the same time. This way you only have to worry about getting the resources for one upgrade at a time.

i made my own Clan when i was at TH10, so i had to rush, to unlock all the troops and spells for donating my clanmates :)
(it's been like 6months since i started my clan and my clan is at level 6 already)

btw Judo is the best content creator of Clash of Clans! 😄

There may also be a massively higher amount of elixir available rather than gold around th8 level because there are much more gold related upgrades than elixir related upgrades, so elixir raids usually don't have to be prioritized with farming style armies, although farming style armies are still viable for certain players.. These players are usually those who are at an elixir deficit after a bad defensive loss or upgrading to th8 directly after using all your available elixir on th7. It's important to remember that while elixir is still in high demand at the lab, gold upgrades will be much more abundant in the th8 level.

Regarding DE for TH9'S, you could also use mass baby dragon attacks with lightning spells to chip away any air defenses.

I upgraded to th10 today while watching this video. I also discovered something. The troop boost you get for upgrading doesn't have any effect on the troops. If you maxed the troops on th9 even with a level boost it will stay the same. (it works just like a power potion, but for 5 days) So if you use a book of building on the laboratory the level boost does apply after the upgrade is done. Which makes it possible to have max th10 troops for 5 days. Which makes farming really easy and you can also get stars quickly to get the 4x boosted star bonus prize. I don't know if you said this in the video. I wasn't really paying much attention on some of the parts, cause I was playing coc alonside. So I just thought to say it right here.
