My sonata just went into limp mode Friday, and failed the rod bearing clearance test Friday afternoon, I got it shut off immediately… I’ll call tomorrow since I live 120 miles from there… it’s a shitty situation… I need a car and I’m still making payments, I’ve kept all the oil change receipts, I don’t plan to pay for this, I don’t need compensation or a settlement I just want my car fixed so I can get to work, I work 60 miles from work so, I am having to borrow my dads, I don’t like this. I’m getting mixed signals from people online, some have gotten a new motor no problems, and others who have gotten fucked,
I can’t afford to pay for a new engine upfront.. I’m praying that god doesn’t give me the middle finger and they honor it… just get my car going, just don’t put another of that engine in.

Happened to me cost me thousands being out of work motor exploded 4000 miles after I got it from them. Extra parts from my vehicle sitting at the dealer for months in the snow. Didn't charge my AC and left me with every light on the dash. Kia and Hyundai are a fraudulent company.

We own a 2019 Kia soul, blown motor, still owe $9, 000. Was sold to us as is. Having been in the shop more than we drove it.
