My first dog was a GSD. We had amazing 7 yrs together. Intelligent, loyal one. I lost him 3 days back, on Sunday mrng. He never was a dog, he was a partner in my life.

My first dog was a Cane Corso. The second too. There is no "not for first time owners", It's just a matter of will and commitment. Of course, with a bit of help from professionals it will be easier.

the fact he pronounce cane corso right made me so happy and then I heard "Belgian mali-noy"

You can get any dog you want as a first time owner. As long as you understand how much work needs to go into it and get a trainer who works with that breed alot

My first dog is a GSD. It was a steep learning curve at first but I scoured the internet for all the necessary info and now we’re so in sync. He’s the love of my life.

Half the “huskies” you showed were Malamutes. Also not good first time owner dogs.

My first dog was a white Siberian husky named Phaylin. My soulmate. The best dog I'd ever had he passed at 6 from Pneumonia. My next dogs will be a husky and shepherd.

My first dog was a Pitbull, super easy to train. Had 0 problems and the most loving dog I've ever met

It all depends on the owner's personality.... But in my opinion...the "worst" CAN BE blueheelers....súper wild, rough, smart, agressive, loyal breed!!

People get guardian breeds and expect them to act like labradors. They will always have the Instinct to protect

My first dog was a shelter rescue Beagle-Dachshund mix. He had severe separation anxiety and was a master escape artist, able to dig under most fences. He did seem to enjoy my recapturing him from neighborhood! Archie eventually was given a better home with a family and less alone time.

I was always around dogs as a child due to my old man owning a fair few but personally my first ever dog was an akita, never had a problem, never left my side and did absolutely everything I wanted him to do. They are powerful yes. They are proud dogs yes however if it makes their owner happy they will do absolutely anything! My late boy was perfection in fur form

Dunno, man...I don't have any of these breeds, but I am doing quite well with my Doberman as a first time owner.

My first dogs were a shi-tzu poodle and a shi-tzu cocker spaniel mix now I own two German Shepherd/American Akita mixes and they have a great temperament and are very well trained I’m 16 and have have taken the time to train them and keep their guarding instinct under control since I live in a gated community with neighbors they must learn to respect
