Ubbe was the only son who followed Ragnar's dream wisely. The way he ruled kattegat was better than anyone else as my opinion ❤️

ubba was not weak or soft. people dont seem to understand how powerful ubba was, the first born son of ragnar(with aslaug) intellectually and in terms of will for his dreams. he always tries to do it the best way possible before going to his last resort. he's not war monger but he isn't a coward either. The way he ruled Kattegat by the way, was more formal and in some ways, potentially greater than bjorn and ragnar himself, even for a short period of time. he was very strategic in those times. when he fought to death with king frodo, he didn't only stop a war from happening, made everyone live in peace, but also brave enough to be prepared to die in doing so. this type of character affected me in a very optimistic way. in times when i feel depressed i just shout "ubba" to fight it off😂 it may sound silly but ubba is not weak. his character, i think, is actually one of the strongest in the series, both mentally and physically

Love the subtle details in this scene. Ivor with blood in this left eye ( left being the devils side ) and Uba with blood in the right being opposite of his brother.
Foreshadowing is crazy in this show and so well done

Ubbe was probably my favorite son of Ragnar when Bjorn isn’t in the conversation. He is by far the most like Ragnar and thats why I like him so much

ubba was the best choice to become king, in fact, caring for family meant ragnar's lineage to continue. ivar ruined everything bjornde was a good king but he didn't care about his sons and would have dried up the bloodline ubba was truly the smartest and most humane man in the show.

All of Ragnars sons possessed pieces of his being. Bjorn had his warrior and leadership spirit. Ubbe had his sense of adventure and exploration. Ivar his cunning and strategic mindset. Hvitserk, being a lost puppy was closer to uncle Rollo than his father; and Sigurd was killed by the arrogance he inherited.
