Why Malzahar counters Zyra?

This bug exists atleast since patch 13.18. I play a lot of Zyra Mid and Malzahar was usually a better matchup for her, but since this bug exists this matchup is way harder.

I’ve noticed this bug for months now especially in arena where Zyra is often pick, I always tend to react with malz whenever I see one in the enemy team

Malzhar just airdropped a 10 hour montage of deforestation to those plants and they just disappeared in fear

Thats why i love the naafiri mu. The little dogs always goes back to him so the dot jumps to him every time.

This bug appeared when Rito changed Malefic Vision's tick speed. Of course, rito doesn't care. I can post any bug, but they won't fix it. There is a seven-year-old bug with Zyra. Her enraged plants don't rotate. (They changed plants' hp at season 7). Also. Shaco's boxes and Heimer's turrets are 'two' shooting plants. And you know these have rapid fire. Previously, it worked fine (before S7 "rework")

This explains a lot. I was in a game against a Malz a while back and it felt like my plants just didn't exist for most of it but I wasn't sure what was happening.

Zyra plants are hella weird. Karma can mantra (ult) W to instakill the plant and also get the first part of the w’s heal if anyone needed a good matchup

Btw zeri passive auto can execute zyra plants as well

Naafiri is worse. If Malz e's her dogos after she hit him with q and she jumps away in a safe distance, the dogos port to her and die, so the e from Malz transferrs to Naafiri

Works with any dot effect. Hwei also kills them instantly with QE

After the execution buff on Malzahar E. This happened. So in a way it happened after the E buff patch.

I thought I went crazy, I saw this today on live servers in my game. Zyra plants were ulted and somehow they disappeared out of nowhere. I remember it so well cuz I was gonna jump with jax onto them but now I know why they instantly died to malz...
