The Toyota C-HR was introduced just last tear for 2018 and her we are one year later and Toyota has added two new rims, listed and added a proper head unit with a backup camera, Apple CarPlay, satellite radio and Entune 3.0.The Toyota C-HR is a new compact utility, or crossover vehicle, that is smaller and less expensive than the RAV4. The Toyota C-HR is only offered with front wheel drive (FWD) and is equipped with Toyota Safety Sense P as standard equipment. The Toyota C-HR is sold as an LE, XLE or XLE with premium package and Limited . There is no sunroof and the back seat feels small due to the small back windows. On the up side this C-HR drives well thanks to a 2.0L 4-cylinder with 144hp matched to a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

I just bought the XLE a few days ago. I absolutely love it. The inside is super sleek with lots of extras and comfortable, unfortunately, it does NOT come with heated seats... maybe in Canada. I really like the look of it, and have received compliments from complete strangers. An added plus is that this little guy has some surprising power and control.

I'm a married woman in my late 30s, living in a city, and do not plan on having children - I'm close to the target demographic. All I can say, is I'm a happy new car owner.

A great car for an 80-year-old with safety features, hybrid, and a youthful look. I do not need to burn rubber, just have a good time driving.

Weird here in japan we have 4WD Turbo charged version and Hybrid versions. Plus the GR TRD sport versions for hybrid and Turbo versions too.

I love  my CH-R 2019 I bought mines in oct. 2018 I saw it in a commercial and I said I got to have this car.  Love the room inside all the features for my Iphone, love that I don't have text and drive. Is luxury to drive this car. I get a lot of complements, people love the two tone colors red and black. I feel very safe on this car, love the way it handles on the curves and fast on the freeway. Love the fancy wheels,  I love the little windows on the side it makes the car look luxurious.  Love all the room on the back and even more room when you fold the back seats, I can actually sleep there LOL.  This CH-R 2019 is full equip. The price for the car is worth it.  Love my CH-R

Another market: I am 80, don't need or want a big powerful car and it is fantastic. And our 29-year-old son/daughter in law and their 4 yeard old just bought one.

I LOVE my 2019 C-HR XLE! You really get a lot of car for the money especially with the XLE trim and the safety features can't be beat at this price range.
UPDATE:
What people don't mention are the optional TRD performance parts from the dealer (at least here in the US) I have just added the TRD Air Intake for more horsepower and torque to the 2.0 liter 144 hp engine and I can already feel the difference and best of all I am not voiding my warranty. It does not automatically become a Supra but it is more peppy and without resorting to a turbo, I know the engine will last. Soon I will be adding the TRD Lowering Springs for even better performance. Nice move on Toyota's part to make these parts available on the car.

As a parent I 100% LOVE the door handle being high up. My daughter is still learning not to hang off the exterior door handle. It keeps that temptation away lol

The 2019 RAV4 is built on the large car TNGA-K platform. The CH-R is built on the small car TNGA-C platform.

Man, I'm glad he expressed his displeasure to Toyota about the head unit and they corrected it in one year. Yeah, because of what you said.

The Millennials that I know still live with their parents and use kick scooters to commute to work.

Love your review as always! We do have 4wd option here in Taiwan, but the price is quite expensive as well, and we only got 1.2L Turbo 4-cylinder with 116hp.

a good review in the context of what this car is: for a car in this category, it drives exceedingly well. distinctive styling, reliable tech and a good chassis.

The car is marketed as a high riding coupe. Why are people still surprised that it has the visibility of a coupe?

Why there's no Hybrid for Canadians?

Aussie here. Would have thought AWD would be worth having with all your snow. Strange Toyota is not offering it, they do in Aus. Also here is a 1.2 L turbo engine. In Thailand you can have a hybrid version as well. No telling corporate marketing mentality . . . 🙄

They should have at least made AWD an option. People that live in northern states need them. Rarely see these since they came out. I was given one as a loaner while my car was in service and couldn’t stand the transmission and visibility was poor. Other than that it was ok.
