I've been wanting to share... I'm 61, skin is good. I use the ELF matte concealer on my eyelids.. it AMAZING. STAYS LONG. Even coverage, not greasy. Better than eye primer. GOOD LUCK

I’ve noticed that any lip color with a “frosty” aspect dries out my lips — even if it feels creamy and even if I go over it with a gloss sealant. (I also find that any gel nail polish with a “glitter” aspect dries out my nailbed and chips easily.)

So as much as I like shiny things, both of these kinds of products are out for me.

My mom had zero brows due to over tweezing in the 30s and 40s. By the 60s she drew them in quite heavily, Joan Crawford style. Mom would wash around her brows and just touch them up when she put on her face. That said, they were just so thick and waxy and fake looking, so I would urge her to make them less bold. Fortunately I did not over tweeze, learning from her experience.

My biggest struggle is under my eyes. The skin is so crepey that every concealer I try just makes that area look terrible.
