The pocket community idea is so lovely, creating a sense of warmth and togetherness. His tiny house looks great 😊

I love the response to 'I could never live in a house this size!', when the home owner replies, "Well maybe not 250 sq feet, but could you live in 1, 000 sq ft?" Excellent question I will be exploring as I am purging many decades of accumulating treasures as well as plain old 'stuff'. Take care & thank you!

I love this whole concept! Imagine your neighbors feeling the same as you about lovely yards, sense of community, just homey. Time to get back to the ways of our elders.❤

I love these kind of pocket communities! Makes so much sense to share a garden and firepit❤️

Now you're in my comfort zone. I really like this home a lot! I like everything about it for that matter. I have seen other homes in this little pocket neighborhood. This one is in the size range that makes my heart happy. Well done. Thanks for the tour! 🩷

Love it, especially the big porch and beautiful shared gardens! I would go a little bigger on square footage, personally.

El concepto de compartir, y el concepto de vivir en un espacio suficiente y reducido no va demasiado con el mundo anglosajón. Son más dados a practicar la pomposidad, el individualismo y el derroche innecesario. Un lugar precioso para vivir y compartir.

Very nice tiny home! I like the layout. I live in a 240 sq ft tiny, more of an open concept design in a community where the homes were intentionally close together, like the old row houses, and we've become a close knit group too. I'm glad you have found the same!

Your tiny home is very nice. Love the idea of laundry in the closet. Keeps it hidden.

That's great. Once you down size the things you keep are important to you.

Love it. 450 to 500 feet would be my ideal.

What a great house. Where does on find that corner desk and those great window blinds? Where is this tiny house community? This is what I am looking for as I approach my retirement.

It looks like the small houses up against the ocean.

The biggest issue as you age is not being able to go up and down to the loft and without that, that makes that square footage really tough. Also, it means you don’t entertain very much and you can’t invite guests often or certainly not more than one so family can’t stay with you. I’m glad he’s still enjoying it three years later, but I looked into it several years ago and followed it for a couple years and started seeing that many people gave up after a few years. It’s definitely not gonna be answering the housing shortage. But it’s a nice trend to emphasize that we don’t always need big.

Love the concept and the corner office, but don't like the loft as it is not suitable for older people, otherwise nice place

I wished I had planned better. I m now on the cross road where my rent lady needs more care . And I have no clue cause my deceased husband did not plan for m elder years. It will get interesting.
