I am speechless.
There’s so much history everywhere, telling tales of years past.
I live in America and can say we do not hold the value of architecture, antique buildings and structures are torn down here much too often. I greatly admire the British people for holding their heritage dear.

We just returned from a week in the Cotswolds, including Chipping Camden! For me, living in a place like this is a dream. This was a special vacation to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary. We were originally going to just spend two days in the Cotswolds and the rest in London, but we finally decided that we wanted a peaceful, relaxing and beautiful week in the English countryside instead of the fast paced energy of the city. You are so lucky to live in a country with such beauty and history! And the people were all lovely!❤🇬🇧

I spent two weeks in the UK a few years ago. I enjoyed the entire country but absolutely fell in love with the Cotswolds. Where I have always lived in the Deep South of the U.S. is indeed beautiful, but, as much as it pains me to say so, the UK beats it. I even seriously considered staying, and would have except for family obligations. Those of you who do live there, appreciate the beauty you have.

The Cotswolds are a very expensive place to live especially Chipping Camden. I think you’d be amazed how much that tiny cottage is worth. Many celebrities and politicians live there.
The baskets at the front of the house are flower baskets waiting to be filled.

What a beautiful cottage, thanks for sharing. I have decorated my old cottage in neutral tones with lots of natural materials and finds as it does seem to really suit very old cottages and creates such a cosy and peaceful atmosphere.

Your daughter reminds me of myself as a child (definitely the part with the bees!) Whenever I was in my grandparent's garden, I would always walk around with sugar in my hand to feed the bumblebees. Sometimes I'd have 3 bees in each hand! Was never stung in my entire life, and I still feed bumble and honey bees from my hand til this day.
