A very good album. My faves are Islands, Yesterwynd, Anthykitera and Something whispered Follow me, first class material. Anyway I must be a sort of weirdo because Human Nature is my favourite NW album (on a par with Imaginaerum and Dark Passion Play)

The first thing is that the third syllable of Yesterwynde is pronounced as in 'wind the clock' rather than 'the wind blows through the valley'. The second thing, I have only listened to it once and it will take a few listens for it to bed in. I like the singles, especially 'Islands', and enjoyed the first listen, so it promises much. The singing on The Children of 'Ata is Tongan, sung by Tonganese singers, as the story is about Tongan children that survived on an island following a shipwreck.

I listened via streaming, but I'm buying it on vinyl and CD.

I miss the whimsicality of Imaginaerum and every album that came before it. Tuomas became kind of obsessed with science and his music really reflected that. Nightwish went from "Fantasy Metal" to "Science Metal". Really hoping Tuomas got it all it of his system and goes back to his extremely relatable poetry about heartbreak and imagination. 😅

I’m a fan of it AND it makes me scratch my head. I like albums like that.

I didn't watch any of the documentaries either.😁

To me, the album has some VERY GOOD songs; An ocean of strange islands, Perfume of the timeless, The Day of…, Lanternlight, The antikyera mechanism, the weave and ofc Children of ata. But the rest is kinda mediocre
