How We Made Nightwish's New Album

Welcome to another episode of my Music Corner. Today, I'm thrilled to share with you the story behind our latest Nightwish album, 'Yesterwynde'.
This album is incredibly special to me, and in this video, I'm opening up about our creative process during the pandemic, how we balanced touring for 'Human Nature' while working on new music, and the personal challenges I faced during this time.

I am 67 years young, and from what I have heard, mainly on YouTube, is amazing! Floor, your vocals on "LanternLight" are incredible! I cannot listen to it without crying! Yeah....1.99 meters tall and 300 lbs of ex-American Football player!!! And break down and cry because Tuomas' writing, piano playing, and your amazing talent has me listening to the songs over and over again!
I now have two abstract paintings inspired by Nightwish's music!
last lines in "LaternLight" was totally unexpected.... and really finished off the song perfectly!

My Queen, I can listen to your voice and all my troubles of the day just melt like snow. And the fact that Princess Lucy in the back ground talking away and it not bothering you, is so joyest to hear she sound happy and loved. Yesterwynde is now become my favoite album and for you to explain to all of us the history of it all is reassuring that when Nightwish returns to touring for us your Army, I cannot wait! Greetings from Finland. Thank you for your lovely introduction to Nightwish´s latest album Yesterwynde! I listened it through during last evening with lyrics and I was so impressed of it, that I ordered the limited special LP-version of it to myself - and I don´t even own (yet) LP-player! :) I also loved your solo-stuff and I was also lucky enough to see Nightwish in Kitee during the summer 2023. The album is wonderful, grabbed me from first listening and your vocals are perfection. Congratulations! I really liked your observation about this album being about enjoying the real world rather than a magical world (which would be more "old Nightwish" style).
