My favorite thing to blood sacrifice is sabos, since you can buy one every couple of rounds in the 80s and 90s, use their abilities when needed, then sacrifice them. As long as you have enough damage that won’t need a lot of money for more, it works great

One of my biggest takeaways from these videos as a whole is that Berserker Brew is great. I used to always just rush stronger stim but now I save that $3k instead and it works great

I like to think that Blood Sacrifice is ultimately just an option, even if there is bound to be moments involving towers no longer doing anything useful for the rest of the game. Is it a strict requirement? We can always try to find out, and I'm here to provide my input on what we can work with when all we have to work with for Adora's Leveling is scraps.

Adora's range was the first thing I looked at for what I've been wanting to say, and it does turn out to be overall standard fare, but what makes it work out is its incredible homing, as not only will Adora's attack will not only easily hit her first mark, but also catch further targets and guarantee full Pierce usage. It's worth considering to place Adora where she will manage acquisition on a consistent basis for having material to work with for splashing key threats at the very minimum. Even Pinks won't be able to outrun the attacks either, although the velocity advantage is modest enough that it would be tempting to focus on the good ol' adage of interception over pursuit. More likely than not, though, First targeting should fix anything that comes up with that.

Round 15 is where Adora really shines, not necessarily the most out of any Hero, but she definitely can poke those pesky Yellows and Pinks without ridiculous effort. Moreover, again due to homing, she can conceivably catch bloons on multiple lanes within the same attack, so this would also be a key advantage over the Spike Factory, which has the same cost. Having her out by then would be great, with the added bonus that she will end up at Level 10 naturally on Round 62 on an Expert map, I'll get to that. Rounds 22 and 23 might be big enough concerns, but they won't be anything LAoL won't patch up, and if you can keep any necessary use to Round 23, that would be solid as long as Round 25's Purples aren't going to be too problematic.

Worth punctuating is that if you can set up a defense that successfully banks for faster Adora deployment, the Level Ups happening when you could really want them can lead into potential deployment/upgrade detours that can hit the more dangerous Rounds or even allow for some critical money saves. Deploying her on Round 13 on an Expert map, or 12 on an Advanced map, gets her Long Arm of Light for Round 16's Yellows. I used this in Workshop CHIMPS Axis of Ice with Adora to delay the Ninja deploy until being much better set up for everything before his eventual Decamo duty, well after I established the T/B Village.

Round 36 is something to be wary of just because of the number of Pinks, but Long Arm of Light is bound to stabilize things before they ever become a real problem. Otherwise, most earlier Rounds aren't too bad, but Adora won't have much in the way of answers for Round 40, so best to make sure that you have an active way to address that. The 40s is where Adora starts having to worry about being overloaded, but IDing the worst threats is bound to do wonders, especially if you have a good M4+ tower with which to zap particular burst threats such as the Ceramic clusters of Round 55 or the MOAB duos of Round 57.

I mentioned that Adora reaches Level 10 naturally on Round 62 on an Expert map if she's deployed on/by Round 15. This is absolutely cathartic, because where she doesn't achieve Level 10 at all on Round 63 without purchase/Blood Sacrifice on even an Advanced map, here, this means you can use Ball of Light on one of the Ceramic clusters of Round 63 if you so wish and put an end to its rampage before it begins. I definitely did on the 2nd cluster, which let me save a Snowstorm activation for Round 64 and allowed me to feel comfortable skipping an Embrittlement purchase entirely. This snowballed into 1 Track Extension use save on Round 81 due to actually getting Icicle Impale before that Round ended, then Super Brittle before Round 91 started to otherwise be its own nightmare, and just plain better leg room than what I had on my practice run.

What I am figuring is that Adora without Blood Sacrifice is able to be a bit of a Jeigan Character, in that she's good enough at the start even for her cost despite the Round 40 MOAB screaming to involve active defenses against it, but it's not too long before you want her focusing down on checking whatever your towers have the biggest problems against, which thankfully she does have the tools for as much with LAoL simply being an attack enhancement that provides extra Pierce (for catching Blacks/Zebras) and Purple property ignoring, and BoL actually having its Targeting being updated by Adora's own Targeting changes. She ultimately falls into support if she's not being a cannibal, even if she does still get bonuses against Fortified targets, something for helping against Rounds 62, 64, 66, 67, 74, 75, 79, 82, 86, 89, 93, and 95 to 99. Just watch out for Regrow Zebras or Regrow Rainbows (looking at you, Rounds 49 and 61), since those particularly can get obnoxious fast if your towers aren't checking them well enough.

All in all, there's still something to work with when not using Blood Sacrifice even after getting it.

I am pretty bad at using Adora, but it is probably skill issue as I didn't use her often, notably used her during my 2 extreme late games and 2 ranked bosses(least cash on both Phayze on in the loop, and least cash lych on bloody puddles of all maps...) for sun avatar buffs and also good early game and high damage at l20.(mostly following a guide though and sac early game farms and specific sacrifices to buff damage and not die, especially normal lych on bloody puddles as a good ranked score resulted in around 300k spent, don't want to count the amount of retries on said map though as I am still mad at that boss), thanks for your guide for using her.

With Adora, sometimes instead of selling towers you just sacrifice them instead. If you focus on levelling to get the ball of light, you've got a powerful panic ability that'll get you to round 99 without issue.

Ball of light is an indicator that you've entered late game so take that as you will.
