i wish i knew about these tips and tricks when I first started playing a month ago. Could've made my playing experience a lot more enjoyable. Main tip was the ability to quit before losing all lives to re-do the level, and save time from re-doing 30-40 levels again. New player should definitely watch. Hope you make more of these guides/tips & Tricks

You actually missed another important round which is Round 63. It's like a lighter version of 76 but you can't rely on an ability to power you through the whole thing since there's 3 separate waves. I find most setups that can't handle 76 also fall to 63 so it's arguably just as important to watch out for it.

I think a good advice also would be to try not to use the same towers every game. Towers and upgrades have a lot of similar roles in games. And by knowing, which towers can fill which roles, a player could be prepared for different regimes like "X type towers only", "Half cash", "Alternate rounds" and so on.
Also, it would be great to know, how upgrade can change a role of a tower. Like "Hydra Rocket Pods" and "Rocket Storm" are great against bloons but "M.A.D" works best against MOABs. Or Submarine, which becomes a support tower, if you go top path.

Learn the meta strategies for harder game modes. This will help so much as you start to beat more and more maps. For example, Prince of Darkness + Apache Prime beats almost every 1 lane map, and using obyn + druids is very meta and can beat so many maps. Once you memorize these strats you can add on to them or modify them to fit your play style and it will help you so much.

It also helps to learn acronym’s or words used in btd.
Here are some of the top of my head
Pod- Prince of Darkness
Rbe- red bloom equivalent
Pierce- How many bloons a monkeys attack can pop through (the blade maelstrom has 50 pierce)
Ramping- As you go past round 80 the moabs start getting faster and stronger
Super Ceramics- After round 80 the ceramics go from 10 health to 50 health and produce only 1 rainbow

Knowing these will help when you’re watching a bloons youtuber or reading a Reddit post about btd. Also if anybody has any more acronyms or defenitions they can think of just comment them below.

Maybe this was just me but after playing BTD 5 so much it took a while to remember to place my hero early on in every game in BTD 6. Planning and strategizing around the hero you choose is also highly beneficial.

appreciate the comment about there being no great way to make monkey money besides playing new maps/modes.

i’m new and want to unlock all the heroes and i figured farming some mindless setup on the same map would be the key, but the juicy first clear bonuses are too much to pass up. Glad to know i’m making the right move.

Towers like 022 Wizard and 030 Druid carry the early rounds pretty well for their cost. Also the middle path sniper and it's upgrades are pretty great for the mid game. Defends well and the ability gives you cash.

My tip : Try to learn what towers are the best for mid game because mid game is like most the game modes. And youu should definitely invest in heroes like sauda, geraldo or Benjamin for easy bb.

Placement is also very important. Please try to be efficient in the space you leave for other towers later in the game, and aim for as much track coveridge as possible at the same time.

A full list of the rounds I watch out for:
round 24 has the first camo
rounds 28 & 30 have the first leads
round 39 has a lot of spaced rainbows and two regrow rainbows at the end that can split into a lot more bloons if you are not careful
round 40 has the first MOAB
round 59 has a bunch of camo lead bloons
round 60 has the first BFB
round 63 has 3 waves of tightly packed ceramics
round 76 has a huge wave of regrow ceramics
round 78 has two massive waves of ceramics, one normal wave and one camo wave at the end
round 80 has the first ZOMG
round 90 has the first DDTs
round 93 has more DDTs
round 95 has an extremely large amount of DDTs
round 98 has a lot of fortified BFBs
round 99 has the first fortified DDTs
round 100 has the first BAD
round 120 has many BADs
round 138 has an extremely large amount of DDTs and fortified DDTs
round 140 has multiple BADs and a fortified BAD
After that point the rounds are randomly generated. If you have any other rounds to watch out for, reply to this and I might remember to add them.

I consider myself to be an intermediate and above player. One thing I've learned is to not waste money on upgrades that you don't need. Even if it's just a few hundred dollars. Because there have been times where I was on a key round and cash generation got a lot slower and I desperately needed an upgrade to help beat that key round. And I might have been able to get that upgrade if I didn't waste my money by giving a dart monkey camo detection despite having Ettiene.

Also I've learned to not be afraid to use powers or insta-monkeys. I don't think it's cheating because Ninja Kiwi allows you to use it. I'll float through half cash no problem and I'll use cash drops on elite bosses if I feel like it. It's not cheating because there's the ranked elite option which doesn't allow powers or instas.

Knowing the right Monkey Knowledge to go to at the start, like primary as a whole and that one support that increases the amount of exp, also the military path has one of those too.

the extra monkey money monkey knowledge is a good buy at the start(pretty much a must buy)
