Показать описание
Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health’s (D-HH) Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is pleased to host a two-part session focused on the science, safety, and efficacy of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines and the state’s and D-HH’s distribution and allocation plans.
Today, two of D-HH’s own infectious disease doctors discuss the impact of the vaccines on public health, as well as key logistics. Elizabeth Talbot, MD, the NH state deputy epidemiologist, will address topics including the state’s allocation and distribution plans, as well as the ethics involved in a limited supply vaccine. Michael Calderwood, MD, MPH, Associate Chief Quality Officer at D-HH, speaks to the role the system will play in vaccination for those working within the health system, as well as in the community. He also addresses ongoing important public safety measures in the COVID pandemic.
Laura Chiang, MD, moderates the series. Dr. Chiang is the Vice Chair for Education in the Department of Anesthesiology and the Co-Medical Director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit.
This session (Part Two) was recorded via Zoom on Monday, December 21, 2020.
