Just traded in my Volvo for a Touring XT last week, your videos helped a lot with my decision, thanks!

Real nice job covering the 2024 Outback. Just bought one, and saved your video for reviewing the features👍

One thing I liked about the 2023/2024 outback, is the heated steering wheel is 360° of heat. I test drove a 2022, and the top of the steering wheel is not heated.

Thanks for the thorough review. You’ve crammed about as much stuff that’s possible in this video, and you didn’t miss a beat.

I had one as a loaner and loved it. It’s quieter and more solid than my Forester, especially the engine which was the same 2.5 as the Forester. It was slower, though, being the naturally aspirated one, not the turbo XT. I would definitely buy the XT.

Excellent presentation video (just Subscribed), and I totally agreed with you that Subaru SHOULD have 360 degrees camera feature to the Outback Touring. It's so convenience for parking especially women. That's is the only option I missed on Outback Touring. The new 2025 Forester Touring will have 360 degrees camera... but then it will missing Power folding side mirrors and the XT feature.
Thank you.

Raised in Hamilton, went to the k-5 Elementary 80-85. Kool to see some changes back there. Great review.

Great review! The 2.4 Turbo is worth the upgrade! Cheers from Quebec, Canada -:)

Excellent review! The crossbars have a quick release latch on the other end of the bar that just lifts up. There is nothing to unscrew to move the crossbars in place. I think you may have been on the pivot end of the bar. Continue to be amazing with your channel…LOVE IT a lot 😊

Bought one ( in Australia ) yesterday, but we miss out on the cooled seats, puzzling as it gets pretty bloody HOT down here!
Thorough review, and glad you don’t inject too much personal bias into the video.
Thanks for such a top effort.

I am about to buy my second outback - I had a 2016 Limited with 6 cyl which I got 160k miles on before the CVT started to go. I am probably about to buy the Touring XT now but might wait for the 2025s to become available (although nothing much is changing.) This was a very good everyday car to live with - but only with the upgraded engine. The traction in snow is unlike anything else I have experienced and I own a 4WD Tacoma and Sequoia as well.

I wish it was built in Japan. My ‘23 Forester, which was built in Japan, has had zero issues for over 50, 000 miles driven since new. The Crosstrek with the base engine is also built in Japan. The Outback and Ascent are built in America and have had problems with build quality.
