Hello, I am on fourth week of postop from the trigger finger. It is painful no matter what medication you’re taking. Once you’re able to use your finger the amount of pain as you do your regular chores around the house or regular every day duties, you will feel the trigger finger a lot. Be very honest to tell them after when they remove the bandage that is continued to hurt when you do your regular motion of washing dishes, vacuuming, folding clothes, combing your hair that hurts after my matters of hours later on during your sleep. As you know you’re a doctor and you doing what you was told to do, but if you have not, what I have felt you won’t be saying these things. Remember, be honest it will hurt when using your hands and even doing therapy hurts him more but I continue to use my hand onto three months to pay will go away. Be honest. I hope you make a second video after. One month to months three months.

I was instructed to take the dressing off after 48 hours and cover with a bandaid.

Its been three weeks and three days since surgery on my middle finger for trigger finger. I wasnt given any instructions for post surgery at all, the surgeon said u r fine to go back to work the next day, , after a few days i kept trying to close and open my finger as much as i could, so i called the office and booked a follow up which i did after two weeks. he said everything is fine, it was up to me now and he did what he was supposed to do, gave me a sheet of paper to do some thumb exercises on it. Im able to close my middle finger approx 70 to 80 percent now but with stiffness and soreness on my left hand, the secretary said it may take three to six weeks or longer to recover fully. The last two days when closing my finger to the 70 to 90 percent closure i will feel a clicking in the main knuckle, im not sure what that is...is most of this normal recovery, any feedback is appreciated....thks
