The government don't throw them off cliffs ...They starve them❓. The facts are that benefits are heavily under claimed ..♿

I wonder how much of the £70bn goes to private companies dragging out decisions on people getting the small change they need to have a bit of help and support... and whether the state pension which most people pay into all their lives is also included.

From within such, on the outside looking in to 'normal, ' there is no such thing as 'mild mental illness'...

Cut back on your 98 inch TV's and gold plated toilet seats 😐

Helpful policy around LCWRA, PIP and other disability payments would be setting up schemes with the money saved from the cuts to help those of us with complex needs have those needs met so we can go back to work.

The thing that's missing, so far, in this conversation, PIP and other benefits are not given based on which condition you have, it's based on how your condition affects you. So if you have mild anxiety that's not affecting your life in any meaningful way, you won't get it. There is so much ignorance around this issue.

Not sure what's going on, but everybody seems to follow the nuttiness of the US, without question.

I know someone who was mauled by a leopard and has been/will be for the rest of her life in a wheelchair…what a fun topic

The 1 in 8 figure assumes that they are claiming benefits, that’s just not true.
