Thanks for the quick recommendation! I´m a student and so happy to not have bought the MacBook Pro in summer. I´ll probably go for the basic MacBook Air since the performance difference between the MacBook Pro and Air are not as big anymore. Do you guys agree with me?

For the money... I ordered almost immediately the Air. Kind of deducted that it should be good considering that has exactly the same chip. I Know for sure that I won’t miss at all neither the extra screen nits, battery life, Touch Bar nor speakers in the Mac Pro. At most I may miss the fan during high performance tasks. We’ll see

I was wondering if I should go for the Macbook Air 13 inch for $999 or cough up the extra $200 for the Macbook pro 13 Inch. But from the sounds of it, the Macbook Pro has full 8 core CPU/GPU, touchbar, studio quality mic and 2 hours more battery life, that alone just seems worth the extra $200 for the Pro. It offers more value for that $200.

I honestly don't know if I should be upset that I bought a MacBook Air before they announced they were doing this at WWDC? Because it is like on the one hand, I am kind up upset that there is now a Mac where I can download content from my streaming services offline, which is the reason I bought the new iPad Air (which I am in love with because it is kind of a good middle ground between Mac and an Apple Silicon Mac). However, there is a part of me that is kind of okay with the fact that I bought a MacBook when I did for 2 reasons: First reason is that it allows the bugs to be worked out during the 2 year transition period. Another reason is that it may allow me to get an Apple Silicon MacBook once the new redesign period occurs. I don't know how to feel. What do you think?
