Hi Douglas,
I'm not sure if you'll read this but your videos have made my life more bearable in recent times.
I began watching your videos about a year ago. Recently, however, I've been affected by a medical episode which has caused great anxiety and panic attacks.
Your videos on the topic of anxiety have given me crucial insight which has helped me overcome my biggest obstacles, and now I'm more confident in coping with anxiety effectively.

Now I'm on a medical plan which serves as a long-term solution, but I'm grateful to have had your perspective and knowledge guide me through the initial step of my recovery.

Much love from Australia,
Travis 🇦🇺

I like your reference to Tony Robins. Changing our physical state is very powerful. Head up, chin up, shoulders back, full breaths and our mood WILL change. The opposite of this posture is depression state.

I’m a Christian, and this is also what the Bible states. Take every thought captive and determine if it’s the truth. Changing my thoughts has been a big help to my mood. It requires constant vigilance in the beginning. Thanks for the great video

I've just finished two weeks of ECT therapy at a local hospital. Now I am in the maintenance phase where I only go back once a month. I was surprised by how many people actually have this treatment done. I will say that I do feel a bit of an uplifting inside my mind. Essentially, ECT is kind of doing what you discuss here in the video about regrooving the mind, however it is done utilizing a grand mal seizure.

Thank you for you candid and kind words. A bad relationship took my inner joy and optimism away, but I try to find motivation and fulfillment in my work, kids and friends, as I work my way out of it. You stories and words are so relatable and uplifting. Thank you.

Thank you Douglas! I have some good news, I've been doing better lately! I don't know if it's because of spring, all the help from my therapists and listening to your videos (which I will always watch!), as of today, I've decided to see how I do without going to therapy twice a week, and going down to once a month. I've come a long way after going over my assessment with my therapist, and even asking them to go over where I started compared to where I am now, gave me the confidence and the realization that I have learned quite a bit! (I have a ways to go, but I'm learning that life is a ball of yarn pieces, pull one, and something else may come loose, and in the background of my brain, things worked themselves out and don't bother me as much any more). I have complex PTSD, MDD, OCD, ADHD, and the umbrella of anxieties.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your videos, your humor, and your time, and I will always be here learning more from you! 👍😊

Hi Douglas. I'm scared of becoming a father. My wife is due in about four months and I've been dealing with a lot of anxiety. I really want to be happy and not cause any stress for my wife. I have days when I feel great and grateful and happy about the future. Other days I feel I have a lack of energy and almost feel like I've used up much of my life energy and don't feel like I have enough left to do what I need to do - work, advance in my career, be a good dad and husband and enjoy my interests.
