What can ancient ice teach us about our climate’s future?

When the world's ice sheets formed, they trapped carbon inside them, and by studying samples of ancient ice, we can learn a lot about the earth's climate history. As well as predicting what this could mean for our climate's future. Maiya May explains

Those studies are paid for by special interests and the research will say what it was paid to say. When the research is peer reviewed independently from those who are responsible for the funding only then can we start to make political decisions based on that information. Too many times before we have seen “science” used that way, what makes anyone think differently now?
