I’m Mexican-American, and Korean is my second favorite cuisine. I really think Korean people keep some secrets from the rest of the world because Kimchee is ADDICTING. Bulgogi is LIFE CHANGING. The culture, the food!!! God bless South Korea.

Pineapple + apple is a pretty brilliant substitute for Korean pears which is used alot for bulgogi, LA galbi, galbi jjim.
Considering how its $20 for a box of 8 Naju Pears.. We often give them as housewarming gift/gifts when visiting elderly

Looks like 7 years later the guy has a chain of restaurants in Denver now, glad he became successful and survived the covid drama.

I finally got around to try Korean BBQ and it is the best thing I've ever tried! Tomorrow I'm finally going to go and try Korean fried chicken with some tteokbokki and see what the fuzz is all about.

Updated: I don't know what they do to that chicken but man! It was the most tender and juiciest chicken I ever tasted! And the Ttekbokki is deliciously chewy. 🤤😋

My Dad says it's a wonder why Guy is not overweight because of all of the eating that he does. But he just tastes everything...LOL

This is really interesting, because there are levels to Korean cooking. Even most Koreans have not tried the higher levels of Korean cooking. I’m still showing my Korean gf all the nuances of Korean food.

my man's hair game's on point lol. is daejee a play on words? (dweh ji) means pig in Korean and dae jee could mean 'big dish' or 'earth'.
