Select 4v across 2 ohm resistor(because it is parallel to 4v) then apply kvl in 1st loop
4-5-v+4=0 we get v=3v.

option A) 3 v is the right answer ( by applying KVL at outer loop).

kvl in outer loop (anti-clockwise) 4+4-5-V=0, v=3v

Sir, with due respect I would like to ask you that when will you resume uploading lectures on signal and system?

v=3i
Applying KVL, 5-4-2+3i=0
i=1,
now, v=3i,
v=3 v (ans)

I (across first mesh ) = - 1A
V(across 5 ohm resistance ) =3×(-1)=-3 v

Kirchoff V + 5v—4v—4v=0 >> V= +3V.

by applying kvl the correct answer is -3v
