In Latam there is from the most albino guy to the blackest guy, all in the same country. That's why it's not an insult to be called black. In fact, we use it to laugh at how absurd it is that you feel insulted for being called black or how absurd it is to feel superior for being white.
Sorry, my english sucks.

It seems that you gringos have a definition of us Latin Americans very different from what it really is, in Latin America there are white people

Omg... Im not saying there is no racism in LATAM, but is not as bad as some are saying here... USA is much worst for example. Or Norway, in Europe.

Dude latin america isn't as racist as this video makes us sound i would say in the USA is much worse. One prejudice i recognize that happens very often here is elitism.

Like damn bruh we Be treated even thrasher then Africans, and this is not even a lie this is facts Africans and everyone that is mixed have more privilege then any full blooded indegounues person in, all Latin America explain to me why you never see us in the big screen? Or even heat about us because were are low to the low the racism against is 99% worse then any African here and, it's sad that no one is talking about it, I said what I said, sorry about my English, I do not speak english very well.

Argentina totally wiped out the majority of their Black population and Mexico just acknowledged it’s huge Black population in 2015.

This video is so unreal that it only shows a part of Colombia, but we are not all brown and black. If you look closely, the mountainous part is mostly white or mestizo. Colombia is an ethnically cultural and diverse country, and we all respect each other.

There are those who are racist but they are not as many as in other countries such as the United States or the Scandinavian countries. Most Colombians are mestizos followed by whites.

Australia wasn't always the open, warm accepting country I know and love 😍. We have our own ugly history too and I'm not just talking about the Colonial Times. Not long after federation in 1901 to 1973 we also had a terribly racist immigration policy called "White Australia". It beats me how my Great Grandma managed to get past that, she was a Russian of Mongolian and Chinese Decent. I recently mentioned how her family immigrated from Finland during WWI. Maybe they simply didn't know, I was only told about my Asian heritage in the last few years.

I'd be here commenting for hours if I went into all of the terrible ways our Aboriginal and Islander people have been treated in the past. There's a lot of similarities to what the Native Americans went through. Including Aboriginals not even been considered human by the Government as late as the 70's. The Stolen Generation which effected some of my Second Cousins. Mum's Cousin married and later divorced his Aboriginal Wife. There was no Custody Suit, the government came and forcibly took her kids off her. Mum couldn't forgive her cousin over what happened. Sometimes the government would send a dreaded Big Black Car into an Aboriginal Community and start grabbing kids at random. The parents didn't have the right to stop them. There was also Stolen Wages, with the Police deciding how much of their Wages they could have. At least we've admitted to those past atrocities over here. We have NAIDOC (National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee) Week that celebrates their cultures. There's National Sorry Day for government to acknowledge their past bad behaviour. They also started returning people's Stolen Wages.

Why would anyone go so far to make latam seem so racist? We're not racist at all, we've got poverty problems, it doesn't matter how dark someone's skin is, we're all poor in the end, we're all the same, so racism ends up being an absurd north american joke to us

I am European but you were talking about a test were you need to note down what kind of race you are? What kind of test is that? That's really weird from my point of view.

Gladly, we werent a collonial power, perhaps cuz we ourselves were under foreigner power a lot of time. still we have our huge ugly past as well, especially regarding Roma population which is very subjugated in the whole Europe, not just in Romania.
