I'm german and the funniest thing is in aspects of craftsmanship or so "das ist gut" is like an equivalent of being called a creator of a sacred piece of work that will last for hundreds of years. When a german says "Das ist gut" be sure, he's crying a little inside by how well it was made. Das ist gut.

Interestingly, from 1975 to 1989, there was a roaringly popular TV show in Germany where host Frank Peter Böhmermann, indeed, listed thing and declared them as good. Almost no people were hurt during the entire runtime of the show, though. So this clip is not entirely accurate.

Actually EVERYTHING in that show is good. We use something akin to sauerkraut, but we use winegar for the fermentation. Lots of dishes use "curtido" and even the cooked red beans are great with it, especially if it has some chili on it.
Autobahn is good, no speed limit AFAIK.
Polka is good, IF you pick the good polka.
