Hi - great GBS success story but would love to see a detailed video outlining specific exercises for lower body for folks recovering from GBS. Thanks!

This made me cry. We are struggling to even find a place where Greg (my husband) can go get rehabilitation. He has been in the hospital for over 11 weeks now and we cannot find a place to get him help. It's so depressing! I just want him to get the help he needs!!

Ok, I’m at the beginning of this battle. I was recently diagnosed with it. Any recommendations on what to do? What was most helpful? I’ve done the slightest little bit of p.t., but basically that’s it. I would greatly appreciate your input. Thank you!!

I’m fortunate that I have been able to walk without any treatment. I developed Guillain Barré syndrome 5 days after getting sick with what I believe was Covid-19. The 5th day after I fist got sick I woke up and started to stand up but it felt like each leg weighed 150 lbs. and ny feet were stuck to the floor. I could walk but it was very slow and took every bit of concentration I had. I also had no reflexes in my legs. My legs felt like they didn’t belong to me yet I could touch my legs and feel everywhere I touched. The problem came when my brain was telling my legs to walk. I could stand still with no problem and sit at my drumset and play double bass but when I would try to walk it was extremely frustrating and difficult. That was 6 months ago. I now have the tiniest bit of reflexes showing up when the hammer hits my knees & I feel like I have about 75% control over my legs BUT I still don’t trust them.
