I was diagnosed with GBS December of 2021 and was paralyzed for about 6 months. It was believed that COVID-19 was the culprit which I had with pneumonia however, I believe it was when I took the Monoclonal Antibody shots 1 week after contracting the virus and 3 days after that is when the symptoms of GBS came in. I have since regain the ability to walk but I have numbness from my knees down and on my fingertips. It almost feels as though I am walking with prosthetic legs. I fear that this nerve damage is permanent but I am glad that I am at least walking again. This was a great video explaining how to diagnose GBS and the symptoms to look out for.
