Great video! Setting up custom keyboard shortcuts has really helped me, especially since I don't have a numpad.

The ctrl + f in the node editor is really handy. I always press A to select all nodes and then comma on the numblock to focus on all nodes (like you do to focus an object in the viewport). Works also very well :)

TIP 4 - you can also press "home" to zoom in all nodes in shader editor view. If you are in 3D view it will zoom to all objects in the scene.

Instead of searching for a node, you can select every node with "a" and use ", " from the numb pad to fit your view to all the nodes, like you would in the 3d view.

1:28 The general convention for selecting from menus also applies to the Quick Favourites: after pressing Q to bring it up, you can press 1KEY to invoke the first favourite, 2KEY for the second one etc.

For tip 3 I just usually press A twice and then press dot (.) to automatically jump to the nodes, not sure if that doesn't work on 2.8 because I'm still using 2.79.

3:06 Alternatively, just press the HOME key to get a zoomed-out view of your entire node graph.
