As a trans person: your gender has nothing to do with mannerisms, most social roles, clothes or presentation in general

Thank you so much for educating! I sort of knew what this acronym stood for, but didn’t understand it 100%. 😊👍

As a lesbian, I think the labeling has gone WAY too far. I likely see it more in forums typically than a hetro person would, BUT it has gone to the extreme in soooo many cases; and, truthfully, I hate to hear what comes next.

I have zero problems with any members of this community. I just want to throw this out there. You have worked hard to get this far. I don't think it wise to include identity. That's a whole different topic than orientation. If you wonder why the movement is set back I'd put my money on this.

I think she says the DSM and the medical guilds like APA and the politicians and laws really don't know. But they will tell you!

As a gay man myself, I disagree with this.

Just think about that for a second, these people are using these adult terms and training/brainwashing children to be subservient to them.

So grateful for these discussions. I went most of my life experiencing consuming shame and guilt because I did not fit into these social constructs and got bullied for it in school/high school/college. Now when I hit my 20s I realize I am asexual but until then I was made to feel like something was wrong with me for not wanting to have sex/not dating, wearing baggy clothes and not wearing makeup and dressing up "feminine". There was a lot of peer pressure from girls who acted like I was. A failure for not being able to get a boyfreind even though they knew I was getting dates I was just turning them down cause I felt no desire to engage them. Even worse boys acted like they could "make me like them" 🤮🤮. It was so weird how worked up these so called "normal" (cisgender heterosexual) people were getting because some person they have nothing to do with doesn't date. I cried the day I learned of the term asexual from a YouTube video just like this one when I realized there was nothing wrong with me I was just different from the standard. Two decades of pain and confusion finally could come to a point of resolution. Thank you so much for what you guys do.

“your sexual orientation and gender identity are not consistent with the existing heterosexual norms”
This seems like a slippery slope when people (including children) are choosing their own pronouns and identity.
Do you see a problem with this doc?
What about transgender?
Do we deny biological facts in order to affirm someone’s changed identity?
How far do we go against the “norms”?

It's humorous to watch otherwise intelligent people attempt to rationalize psychotic nonsense as rational discernment..

Why are we labeled as haters if we don't go along with this? Am I a hater because I know what a woman is, and I am aware of basic science and biology?

can we please just take gender off of our license entirely? it's no one's business.

What is the purpose of this video? Conforming? I’d like to actually talk about this for real. Let’s talk about how or why a person is gay or dysphoric. Let’s not skirt around. Let’s do science.
