Who on earth would think Salah is not better than Gerard? As a German I can tell you the whole Lampard, Gerard, Scholes thing is a joke. Rooney was the only player you had that people in another country would pay to watch play. Lampard was all heart, scored allot of goals but wasn’t close to world class. Gerard was larger than life and could take a game by the neck which none of the others could but not often enough to get a sniff of a title. Scholes was likely the truest of the 3 to be a world class technician but he was kind of a cog in the wheel. Salah is 100% no questions asked world class. There is no debate between Salah and Gerard

Salah will always have better goals and assists stats, he is a forward for a successful team for 8 years now, Steven was the best all round midfielder in the premier league period at his peak but obviously played for a team no where near the current team. And ofcourse the fact that Gerrard is from the city makes it more special. But Mo Salah, just a joy to watch.

He’s one of our biggest legends but he’s not as good as Gerrard was. Gerrard was a machine. If Klopp had prime Gerrard on his team then Liverpool would have won everything multiple times over.

Salah has been great for us, he truly has but he's not our greatest player. I'd put King Kenny, Stevie G and Rush ahead of him for sure.

Let's not forget, we have players who win multiple trophies home and abroad for us Inc Hansen and Souness.

Salah is one of our best ever but not our greatest.
