I reckon Micah thought Baresi was a phrase not a footballer

Roberto Baggio in his prime was something else. Just a beautiful footballer.

It was Roberto Baggio 'the divine ponytail'.
He was MAGIC in action.

Roberto Baggio. He floats like a butterfly, and stings like a bee.

People forgetting Roberto Baggio. That guy was an iconic player with his pony tail and his wizardry, made many fall in love with the game. In terms of global influence he was incredible.

Definitely Baggio. Can not forget my tears after 94 final. My entire family was supporting and I was supporting ponytail.

The level of respect to Maldini is amazing

Micah probably thought Baresi meant ‘me too’ or ‘same’ 😂

Agree about Maldini. The greatest defender of all time. The amount of trophies he won, the great teams he played in, his longevity playing at the highest level until over 40 and I never saw him make a mistake. He was hardly ever beaten 1 v 1.

These two guys were generational strikers. Breed of another kind. And both of them chose Maldini, who was their rival for many years. That tells you how it must have felt to face that Milan wall.

R. Baggio. The guy didn't run. He floated on the pitch.

In 2006, Alessandro Del Piero and Thierry Henry played against each other in Italy vs. France final in Germany and now they are chilling in the same room and chatting about best Italian players. That's lit ❤

Roberto Baggio! Era una pasada verlo jugar. Daba miedo cuando jugaba en la Selección nacional. Muy inteligente.

For Italy, Baresi was something else, best defensive performance in history in the 1994 wc final

Pep Guardiola said *Baggio* was the most technically gifted player he'd ever played with

Roberto Baggio is in my eyes the greatest attacking player I’ve seen from Italy.

Despite the injuries he was a generational talent and doesn’t get the plaudits he deserves.

There are so many Italian footballers that people forget, Dini Zoff, Riva, Rivera, Bruno Conti was a magician with the ball and the brains behind the 82 World Cup win (offensively)… way too many players that people forget.

Of course Roberto Baggio. His greatness as a football player is nowadays so underrated. It's sad because he seemed also a nice human being.
