Fun fact, autopilot isnt a program or some sort of system. The yoke is just infused with a dead pilot's soul that can be activated

That's because on Boeing, this is not a fly by wire system, so what the autopilot is doing automatically moves the yoke as it is physically connected. That's not the case on Airbus planes.

This is because in boeing planes the control surfaces are directly connected to the yoke. If you move one the other also has to move.

Yes yes my sweet 737 is my main in flight simulator. I have been learning and getting comfortable with the fenix airbus on the sim and this is something I actually noticed, the throttle moves on the 737 too when In autopilot

Both the 787 & 777 are FBW…but also have yoke movements that reflect autopilot inputs.
