Just finished “a hero with a thousand faces” following your recommendation, (and of Ray Dalio, who considers this book as a “must read” for everyone). Such a long, deep Wow....
It was a difficult read which demands a lot of concentration, but the end result is indeed profound and fruitful. I’ve got the feeling that my life or way of thinking turned from a simple line into a multi-layer structure.

Zero to one and propaganda are great too in respect perspective/viewpoint changing.

thanks again! I decided to get joseph cambell's hero with a thousand faces, looking forward to learn from that...also bought a copy of seeking wisdom on your recommendation, for $67. If it's worth $5000 to you, I'll pay the $67 and read it keenly. Upon reflection, Plato's works have influenced me very much...His Parmenides might be my favourite, but there are so many gems, not to mention the divided line, and of course the cave analogy too.
