I think the idea of all genshin characters with pointy ears have some kind of dragon ancestory is cool since dragons are a big part of teyvat and look at fontaine with everyone being an oceanids

I have feeling that Genshin or Teyvat is like the Beginning of everything in the universe followed the Honkai Universe...Since Genshin - Chinese transalation YuanShen - Yuen meaning Orignal and Shen God - Original God or the Primordial. So it safe to say that Teyvat was the Genesis of Honkai Universe.

Thank you for explaining a little lore of HSR for us people who only play Genshin. I loved it you should do more like this.

6:51 The most important dragon sovereigns were Hydro and Pyro. The Hydro dragon governed life in Teyvat. We don't exactly know how he died. Egeria was created from the heart of the original Hydro dragon and served as a means for the Primordial One to seize Hydro authority and prevent the hydro dragon reincarnation. As long as Egeria was alive the hydro dragon could not reincarnate. That's why Neuvillette was born following Egeria's death in Sumeru.

let's see if I can explain this one. Teyvat means arc in Hebrew so it implies that it's a vessel of sorts in an unknown universe carrying the last hope for life. After what we saw in Natlan it appears that the rest of the universe is broken. Teyvat than becomes an embryo for a planet that is why it is said that it's sleeping. The firmament around Teyvat can be seen as an eggshell and the primordial water as the lifeforce it nurtures itself on, in Fontaine it's even named as Amniotic fluid. To create this world Lumines will has been used to form this egg. The dragons are a manifestation of Lumines will to crush the Heavenly Principles. This connects to Lumine fighting to liberate the thrones with the dragons authority her authority. The archons represent the will of the gods. All of that is taking place within an egg that is in a dream state. But Theyvat was made for a reason that is not revealed yet since it's an arc heavenly principles had a plan with it, possibly to fight something much larger in that universe that they are having troubles with right now.

I think this is the Genesis story to Honkai Impact, and how Herrschers came to be so powerful, the reason why they say it's not "connected" it's because it pre dates the honkai universe. "The arrogation of mankind" refers to what happened to earth and this is the reset button we experience in Genshin. Abyss and honkai energy are probably very much related to each other
It's even possible that Irminsul is the imaginary tree in the future

I'm honestly all for this theory! I wasn't sure of where exactly Teyvat falls in the Hoyo-verse... but it makes sense if it is in the early Era's of HSR and the Dragons came from Long... and that would also explain Traveler reminding me of the Astral Express (design of the express looks a lot like Aether's outfit/clothes.)

if nibelung reincarnated, and manipulated the sinners, the question is that who is that reincarnation? whose one eye glows? is it pierro? i think that could be a topic for some future video

19:35 They do not. They seem to align, yes, and the resemblance is uncanny, but they do not until we know for sure that they do.

Also, and this is a personal opinion, I don't think that the Primordial One and the Heavenly Principles are the same. And the reason is simple: How they treat humanity. In Before Sun and Moon, we read how the Primordial One held humanity as its dearest creation, and that only the breaking of the covenant between humanity and the Primordial One could make it regret and disdain humanity, but that "the path to Sin was long sealed away" (not verbatim), and that "If humanity felt hunger, the Primordial One would send food and rain, if humanity felt sad, the Heavens would sing, [...]", but after the war that made Byakuyakoku fall to what now is Enkanomiya, the Primordial One stopped responding to its people's prayers, along with the Shades of Life, Death and Void, as the only Shade that helped them was Istaroth. I think that the Primordial One lost or was "assimilated" to the Second Who Came, but they formed a "pact", by which the Second Who Came was deemed victorious and the new ruler, becoming the Heavenly Principles, and the Primordial One would be able to keep its creations alive. How does this make sense? Humanity never sinned during the war, as far as we know, and we know for a fact that the people og Enkanomiya were sinless, but after the Second Great War, the attitude the Heavens showed to humanity changed DRASTICALLY, and to this day, we see the Shining Shades going against, in subtle ways if anything, the Heavenly Principles and its rules (Istaroth helping Enkanomiya and planting a new, healthy and young Irminsul in Inazuma (the Sacred Sakura), Ronova helping Natlan with the Ode of Incandescent Resurrection, and Egeria transforming her Oceanids into semi-humans).

This idea that the Light Realm and Void Realm (=Abyss) are paired opposites has been around a long time despite the game saying it's Celestia that is paired / opposite of the Abyss and that the Abyss energy is alien to Teyvat the same way Celestial energy is alien, as early as the Chasm, where we got a Chasm loading screen message saying two forces battle in the Chasm and both came from "beyond Teyvat". Clearly this means Abyss and Celestia.

But in 5.1 we got two more pieces of data confirming this view and negating the idea that the Abyss has always been a part of Teyvat, or is older than the Primordial One. First the new KFC wings that confirm that the 2nd Descender or 2nd Who Came or 2nd "customer" is the world devouring demon that is the Abyss. Second the comment by Mavuika with where Mavuika says that the Abyss invaded Teyvat around the same time as the war with the 2nd. "Invaded" meaning coming to Teyvat from outside.

So the idea imported from the Honkai games of an Imaginary vs a Quantum doesn't exist in Genshin, and if you insist on matching a pair up like that then it would be Celestia as the Imaginary and Abyss as the Quantum. Also the Honkai universe is not the Genshin universe. The whole Imaginary tree / sea of quanta concept itself is not one universe but many and Genshin and Honkai haven't been linked except in this "we get a peek at a different universe" Easter Eggs in Honkai. All that Honkai stuff is within the one Honkai universe which is not the Genshin universe. The various Honkai games are linked to each other but not to Genshin, except in the most tenuous sense of the wider Hoyoverse "multiverse" and Easter Eggs.

Besides which we're told in game that dragons of Teyvat can and do appear out of nothing, or nothing but a concentration of elemental energy. Just the same as slimes and crystal flies spontaneously appear. We're also plainly told that dragons generally (and Apep specifically) don't like humans precisely because of their separate origins through the "Usurper" PO, and that they are not the same at all. Again it's not like only dragons resurrect in Teyvat. In theory so do gods and we see Guoba and Nahida losing and gaining energy.

Plus your theory would make dragons a lot more powerful. In Teyvat the PO takes out seven Sovereign dragons, and who knows how many other dragons, easily and all by himself. Then when Nibelung goes off to get outside help (because the dragons are just too weak) they lose a second time. And it's not like the dragons even come in second place because the Abyss would be 2nd place. The dragons can't even contain the power of FK and stay sane.

I just noticed rhat kokomi's constellation kinda looks similar to how the narwhal looked when skirk spins it into her hand. The narwhal could also be said to be asleep in that state.

Could the traveller also be a dragon? I don’t think there’s an image where we can fully see their ears even if there is light element dragons could have the ability to assume a perfect human form not just one with draconic features

I totally agree. If Alice and Klee (plus the others you mentioned) were Elven we'd have heard or read something by now.

here’s my question.

if nibelung left teyvat and came back with forbidden knowledge, where did he get it from? what happened with him during the time he was gone?

another question i have is how was the guy from star rail able to see dvalin on that monitor?

another one, if teyvat is upside down, what’s on the other side opposite of us, other than the abyss??

over the last for years, they’ve given us so many answers but that comes with even more questions.

Layla and klee are having this pointed ears too.
To me I think honkai impact is somehow connected to genshin impact, and that unknown god ( lady ) is one of the harishers. Dragons look like came from another planet they might be a dominant race.

Havent completed the vidoe yet so this could be mentioned later, but I would like to note that the Vidiyahadara do not reincarnate if killed before getting to an egg, Vidiyahadara also do not reincarnate, so unless the permanance left minor differences in all of their species, the fact soverigns do reincarnate after death, even after their bodies are destroyed or even taken by them to create other lifeforms (I believe Neuvillete's previous incarnation's bones were crushed and birthed into smth but I forgot what it was) is a major difference, also Vidiyahadara can't reprodouce, idk if soveriegns and vishaps can tho, but they probs can considering Apep made those little things
