So retesting v3s are worse. Was shocked the v2 loadcell out of the box was perfection for me and no other brake has felt that perfect for me out of the box. I can't even get my p1000s to feel as good! Man all I care about is feel and fanatec made this thing the goat wow!

I've got both sets, but for me the precision of the brake pedal on the V2's means they stay on my rig and the V3's look pretty on a shelf which quite frankly is the best place for them.

I got the V2s new for 200 euros direct from fanatec during black friday and I'm really pleased with them. What a steal.

Impo, it’s the throttle. I know you said it’s not a key factor but in the v3s is a bit stiffer which get you a better feeling

Dont forget vibration feature of v3. I use it on brake pedal for gt7 and very usefull. For throttle, it can be activated for TCS for other games.

V2's were a bargain £199 on Black Friday. Also didn't take long to arrive, about 2 weeks, although I know a lot of other customers had a long wait for some items. Recently ordered a wheel and the DD Extreme, both have been delivered within 7 days to UK so maybe the recent problems on delivery times are starting to improve.

Hey Digit. Great video as usual. I opted for the V2's when it went on sale for Black Friday sale. I did it because the makes no sense to invest so heavily in something that I don't use as much. Maybe in another 10 years when I retire and have more time, it could be used more, but 10 years is a long time. So for now, the V2's make for a better option for me. I am also not a top level driver that may need an additional edge, so yea, the V2's so far was a good decision

This is a good review!
Personally appreciate the info regarding the exclusion of the clutch and direct mounting possibilities.

Fanatec, you should include him in your program!

The most important point: The V3 look much better on the rig....

It's easy to install fasteners from the top for the V3's without removing that plate, as long as you use hex head bolts and not socket head cap screws. That way, you can get an open-ended wrench on them to tighten them. And even if you choose to use socket head cap screws, you can just install them from the bottom and put the nut on the top. Either way, you don't need to remove the foot plate and risk damaging those screws.

And the difference in the clutch pedals was enough for me to choose the V3's over the V2's (since the action of it feels much more realistic and I use it a lot). That, along with the fact that I was able to buy them for $325 new in box, made them the choice for me.

I have a V3s with BPK (and I use the softest elastomers from that, 1 red 12 and 1 red 13), better looking, better clutch, better throttle. I like it :) Bought for €300 at BF in 2022.

You don't need to remove the heel plate for mount though (although if you mount to a 80/20 rig without plate, you do), I've mounted it easily with a screw and a nut each hole.

I fitted my v3 without removing the plate. Put the nut on top bolt on bottom. I think the v3 as a set is better.

Just started using V3’s from the CSL and they’re insanely good. When I looked at the V2’s and tried them I barely saw it as an upgrade. Wasn’t worth the money at all.

The V2's are an exceptional value and if you are only using two pedals pull the clutch, move the load cell over to the left and the throttle to the right, comfortable as it gets. Plus unlike the V1 CSL's they are not potentiometers using plastic and aluminum gears and the plastic would give out, now it is Hall effect. Magnets.

Have the V3 especially for the rumble motors on it and for the damper on my trottle paddle. Love to feel a bit of resistant

V3 are beauty and driving quality, V2 are just quality. I'm in love with my new V3 but I recognize I could drive with the other ones including my TLCM.

I purchased the V3 on Black Friday..it was a bundle that included the damper kit & the brake performance kit for $376. Granted it took 2 months to receive. I’m still using my CSL load cell pedals haven’t even unboxed the V3’s

I stuck with the V2s. My braking has improved with those. Running better lap times.
