Fanatec V3 Pedals Vs CSL Elite (Opinion)

I recently purchased the Fanatec V3 pedals and have been using them on Assetto Corsa Competizione and Gran Turismo Sport. I wanted to give an honest opinion on how I felt about these pedals. I've been using the CSL Elite pedals for a long time and I was a bit surprised of the differences. I hope this helps someone out there.

FYI. I was wrong in the video about the “sho” setting. The “ABS” setting in your wheel is what controls the vibration from the pedals. 👍🏼

You should mention that with the cls clutch, you need to remove the rubber stopper to make it a clutch, that's why it is so hard to press because if you don't have a load cell brake the clutch is the brake, but if you have a load cell brake then the brake becomes the clutch and you need to remove the rubber thing for it to be the clutch. if that makes scene.

I wish I would've gone with the V3's but at the time i thought it was overkill. I went with the CSL Elites, then about 4 months later I bought the loadcell kit only to realize, dollar wise I should have just gone with the V3's from the start.

Just pointing out that the on the csl elite pedals when you get the load cell package and convert the normal break pedal to clutch you should pull that foam break dampener out of it... the kit comes with a harder bump stop more similar to the gas pedal.... then it also feels more like the gas pedal and has just sprung tension travel all the way down.
I have the elites with the load cell... for me and for now they are enough and I like them a lot... the biggest thing is if you don’t have a LC yet and are thinking about it... you have to just pull the trigger, it’s the biggest upgrade you can make after your force feedback wheel.
I’ve never tried the v3 but I would say save your money and just get the elites... if your interested in the v3 and are not concerned about the price difference I would tell you to spend a few hundred more and get some sort of full blown pedals (huskinveld or similar style). Yes I know I spelled his damn name wrong there :/
