the City of San Francisco needs to get five times as many cops on the streets, fund them well, arrest criminals and throw them in the hole where they belong. The city last year had a higher GDP than the entire state of Utah. They should be able to fund a large police force. Clear those homeless camp/stolen goods operations off the streets.

My colleague from Switzerland checked out of his hotel to see the Embarcadero area before his 7pm flight back home. There was nothing in his car that was in plain view and it was broken into because the thieves wanted to use the fold down seats to access the trunk. The only reason they didn’t get his suit case is because it was too big. So he intuitively did what this politician is suggesting but his rental car got broken into. This guys is an ostrich and clueless ! I’m inspired by Musk! I’m contributing to whoever is running against him! Because of his statement ! SF should be embarrassed they elected this person in the first place.
