How to Prune Hardy Mums for Growth and Blooms

I live in the south. My daughter and I were noticing that there were more spiders snd spider webs everywhere. We usually don't see that many until fall. This season has been strange. Thank you for sharing your tips on mums. Great idea!! 👍

I ordered four online, each a different fall color, and when they arrived in mid-August, they were already partially blooming. I couldn't bear to cut them. I decided to just enjoy the beautiful blooms early.

I’ve heard if mums bloom early let them flower and then shape and cut off old blooms and it will flower again in the fall

Can you propagate the pieces you cut off to make more, like with nonhardy mums?
