1. Purchase garden mums that are in tight bud form. This way you can enjoy the show as they bloom and enjoy the flowers for longer.
2. Place your garden mums in a sunny location out of the rain.
3. Water your garden mums every other day. They like to be moist but not waterlogged. Water around the base of the plant, avoiding overhead watering, as wet foliage can lead to fungal diseases.
4. Deadhead the flowers regularly for repeat blooms.
