Photoshop Super Resolution vs Gigapixel - 4x More Resolution [New Feature March 2021]

📜 In this video we're gonna see what the new Super Resolution feature from Adobe Photoshop and Camera RAW can do to your pictures. In the first example we're going to transform an 18Mp shot, from an old Canon t3i that costs around 200 USD nowadays into a crazy 71Mp picture.

We're going to compare the results using 3 different levels of cameras, and also between Camera Raw \ Photoshop against Gigapixel, another great software for enhancing the resolution of your pics.

Nice comparison! I've noticed that Gigapixel handles low-res images very well. It can enlarge a 550x550 pixel image 4 times the original size and still look very good! I think Photoshop Super resolution is more for images that already are in a good shape

Excellent video, thank you. Will Gigapixel with a 2x or 4x enhancement be acceptably as good as a 200mm lens compared to a 400mm or 800mm lens? I.e. Can I use it as a zoom to be able to get closer to wildlife?

Is it prossible to define how much you want to enhance? like 1.5, 2, 3, etc.?
Great tip about the changes to have camera raw supporting JPG and TIFF. You can always research but having it upfront is a time saver. Thumbs up !

I just need some clarity, is this Super Resolution on Camera Raw upgrade only available for Apple computers?? Cause I've updated photoshop as well as camera raw on my windows and this feature is unavailable. Frustrating.
