At least 2 people were killed in separate crashes on I-5 in Pierce County | FOX 13 News

One crash, happening earlier Tuesday morning, involved a tow truck and a semi truck. The second crash involved a work truck and semi truck. At least two people have died in those crashes.

Have lived in that area, it's usually the small vehicle drivers who drive recklessly as they do not comprehend that commercial trucks weigh about 35, 000 pounds that take time to stop and can't just change lanes whenever they want. Most folks who are in a hurry are those who have chosen not to take into consideration to leave earlier to make to where they need to go. But most can agree on this regardless even if they do not live in the Seattle-Tacoma metro area, but even in rural are as well. Feel free to disagree, but also take time to watch to how many folks treat a stop sign as a yield sign as opposed to actually stopping. I'll use Anacortes Washington for example, or even smaller go sit and have coffee in La Conner Washington and you'll see people do the same. As for intoxicated drivers, they just don't care or have the capacity to comprehend that they will more than likely kill or harm another person regardless of what they drive. These truckers are crazy these days.... Today when driving on i5 three trucks covered all the three lanes 😅. There are trying to match 80mph speed. Way crazy
