The design looks good but I still prefer the original bayverse design. I get that people want g1 accurate designs, however I just think that taking risks and branching out is better than being super accurate to source material that’s been ignored for a while at that point.

People forget that the G1 designs were with vehicles from the ‘80s. Why would Optimus still be a 40 year old tractor?

I do prefer the Knightverse designs more, but the older Michael Bay designs have some type of charm to it. The Bayverse just wouldn’t be the same without those designs.

Thing is, bayverse one is like realistically how a truck like Optimus would look like in its robot form, G1 design was more for cybertronian type vehicles. So realistically in a different planet he will look different. I get that in (rise of beast) his g1 was still awesome but it isn’t a bad thing to have this design. It’s still awesome

G1 Optimus was fire. But for the whole cast of bots the bay verse and transformers prime are my favorite designs.

In my opinion, them using g1 in the bay verse will ruin g1 Optimus, I mean, g1 Optimus is all about wise-ness and stuff, and meanwhile bayverse Optimus is a fu*king badass
