I JUST FINISHED A LIFE-CHANGING ROAD TRIP ACROSS TURKEY!!! My buddy Anil and I drove over 6,500 kilometers over the last 3 weeks, covering so many amazing cities and regions in this amazing country!

I would definitely agree with that statement about getting out of Istanbul to see the rest of the country. Same everywhere we visit in the world, this is why we love to hire a car and tour a country if possible!

I was fortunate enough to spend three years assigned in Turkey in the southeast. I thoroughly enjoyed your adventures there and Miss many of the friends that I made their over the years. Your videos really showed warmth of the Turkish and the Kurdish people. I remember vividly how many times we were adopted by entire villages who invited us to many of their family celebrations. It is something I will carry with me for my lifetime.
