Wifi Not Connected - No connections are available. Airplane mode only showing WiFi option not showing in Windows 10.
Wifi button missing. Can't enable or disable wifi, there is no wifi.
Solution: Open services window, scroll down to WLAN AutoConfig, start the service.

THANK YOU - I tend to turn off any unnecessary service and as I don't generally use WiFi on my desktop I had this off and had forgotten. Needed to troubleshoot so when my USB WiFi adapter wouldn't work found this and you saved me. Sub for sure, thanks!

Mine said WLAN was already running 🤷🏻‍♀️ Tried to stop it and then start it again, but got Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I'm so frustrated since earlier. I can't connect to our wifi and it seems like the airplane mode got stuck. You're a life saver!! Good sir, there are not enough words in any language to thank you properly for this fix, & then for uploading it, nor to describe the week of hell I’ve been put through after windows “reset my network settings”. The amount of shtt I’ve tried, the orders/instructions I’ve completed are immeasurable & infuriating and only served to make things worse. You have my enteral gratitude. For those it did not work:
1. Go to Device Manager
2. Network Adapters
3. Find your Wireless Adapter
4. Disable it and then Enable it
5. Now it should show WiFi Connections

This worked for me.
